As mentioned in my profile, my "real" general purpose blog is now:

http://blog.godblessthefreaks.org

I suppose you'd say scope is
  • politics (especially libertarian/anti-Republican screeds)
  • faith and religion (especially Christian jaded post-modern "emergent" kind of stuff, a word i wince as i type)
  • tech (especially learning Ruby on Rails, although i may move some of that to my professional site)
  • issues of exploring non-traditional career paths, such as freelancing, composite careers, etc.
My only other active blog is my sports blog:

http://godblessthefreaks.org/sport/

Topics covered:
  • Vanderbilt sports
  • Other SEC sports
  • Other college sports
  • International soccer, especially when there's news on the World Cup front
  • Sports and society
  • Other misc. sporting interests (MLS/Revolution, NFL/Patriots, etc)

New sports blog - i reorg'd my sports posts.

http://godblessthefreaks.org/sport/

but i should really tweak it so the link in my last post here works.

Anyway, this isn't my real blog. godblessthefreaks.org is.

Well, if i'm going to post on sports-themed Blogger blogs too, then I may as well set up http://sports.godblessthefreaks.org to redir to relevant content. It won't be working until DNS propgates, though.

Although come to think of it, i don't think i have to use my Blogger account for everyone; just for Greenwald (as a quality control measure). EDIT: Turns out that many of the Blogger blogs disallow anonymous comments, so if you're interested in reading my ramblings you're stuck having to click through.

[Greenwald] nails it today about the NSA thing. The Administration asserts that its bizarre theories of the imperial Presidency are really constitutional, are really in keeping with the role the founders laid out for the different branches. They say that the authorization to use military force against terrorism included giving the President authority to spy on Americans — but they couldn’t go get that specific repeal of FISA enacted by a Republican Congress, because Congress might not agree!

PS: My subdomain politics.godblessthefreaks.org is now working, so i can save political junkie readers from reading the other mundane details of my life.

Time to leave the Beltway Insiders in the Beltway, move the nation’s capital to Topeka, and start over again with other parties.

Original Glenn Greenwald post: Investigations are so very rude and distasteful.

UPDATE: Sorry that I've now managed to orphan my old post's slug. I have a lot to learn about Blogger -- or they could just support standard trackbacks and make life easier.

Ceci n'est pas un blog

This is not my blog. My blog is at http://godblessthefreaks.org/philip. But apparently you have to set up a blog to create an account here, so here i am.
